They fled at dusk, and left the camp just as it was.
וַיָּקוּמוּ וַיָּנוּסוּ בַנֶּשֶׁף וַיַּעַזְבוּ אֶת אׇהֳלֵיהֶם וְאֶת סוּסֵיהֶם וְאֶת חֲמֹרֵיהֶם הַמַּחֲנֶה כַּאֲשֶׁר הִיא וַיָּנֻסוּ אֶל נַפְשָׁם׃
מלכים ב ז:ז
"They rose and fled at dusk, and left their tents, their horses and their donkeys, the camp just as it was, and fled for their lives."
Melachim Beis 7:7
They went into one tent, and ate and drank.
וַיָּבֹאוּ הַמְצֹרָעִים הָאֵלֶּה עַד קְצֵה הַמַּחֲנֶה וַיָּבֹאוּ אֶל אֹהֶל אֶחָד וַיֹּאכְלוּ וַיִּשְׁתּוּ׃
מלכים ב ז:ח
"These metzoraim came to the edge of the camp, and went into one tent, and ate and drank."
Melachim Beis 7:8
They carried off silver and gold, and went and hid it.
וַיִּשְׂאוּ מִשָּׁם כֶּסֶף וְזָהָב וּבְגָדִים וַיֵּלְכוּ וַיַּטְמִנוּ וַיָּשֻׁבוּ וַיָּבֹאוּ אֶל אֹהֶל אַחֵר וַיִּשְׂאוּ מִשָּׁם וַיֵּלְכוּ וַיַּטְמִנוּ׃
מלכים ב ז:ח
"And they carried off from there silver and gold and clothing, and went and hid it; and they came back and went into another tent, and carried off from there, and went and hid it."
Melachim Beis 7:8
There is no one there, only the horses tied, and the tents as they were.
וַיָּבֹאוּ וַיִּקְרְאוּ אֶל שֹׁעֵר הָעִיר וַיַּגִּידוּ לָהֶם לֵאמֹר בָּאנוּ אֶל מַחֲנֵה אֲרָם וְהִנֵּה אֵין שָׁם אִישׁ וְקוֹל אָדָם כִּי אִם הַסּוּס אָסוּר וְהַחֲמוֹר אָסוּר וְאֹהָלִים כַּאֲשֶׁר הֵמָּה׃
מלכים ב ז:י
"They came and called to the gatekeeper of the city and told them: We came to the camp of Aram, and behold, there is no one there and no human voice, only the horses tied and the donkeys tied, and the tents as they were."
