He was set down in the middle of a valley, and it was full of bones.
הָיְתָה עָלַי יַד ה' וַיּוֹצִאֵנִי בְרוּחַ ה' וַיְנִיחֵנִי בְּתוֹךְ הַבִּקְעָה וְהִיא מְלֵאָה עֲצָמוֹת׃
יחזקאל לז:א
"The hand of Hashem came upon me, and He carried me out by the spirit of Hashem and set me down in the middle of the valley, and it was full of bones."
Yechezkel 37:1
A rattling, and the bones came together, bone to its bone.
וְנִבֵּאתִי כַּאֲשֶׁר צֻוֵּיתִי וַיְהִי קוֹל כְּהִנָּבְאִי וְהִנֵּה רַעַשׁ וַתִּקְרְבוּ עֲצָמוֹת עֶצֶם אֶל עַצְמוֹ׃
יחזקאל לז:ז
"And I prophesied as I had been commanded. And as I prophesied there was a sound, and behold a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to its bone."
Yechezkel 37:7
Sinew, then flesh, then skin drawn over the top. And no breath in them.
וְרָאִיתִי וְהִנֵּה עֲלֵיהֶם גִּדִים וּבָשָׂר עָלָה וַיִּקְרַם עֲלֵיהֶם עוֹר מִלְמָעְלָה וְרוּחַ אֵין בָּהֶם׃
יחזקאל לז:ח
"And I looked, and behold, sinews were upon them, and flesh came up, and skin covered them over. But there was no breath in them."
Yechezkel 37:8
The breath came into them, and they stood on their feet.
וְהִנַּבֵּאתִי כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּנִי וַתָּבוֹא בָהֶם הָרוּחַ וַיִּחְיוּ וַיַּעַמְדוּ עַל רַגְלֵיהֶם חַיִל גָּדוֹל מְאֹד מְאֹד׃
יחזקאל לז:י
"And I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and they stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army."
