And she wept, and would not eat.
וְכֵן יַעֲשֶׂה שָׁנָה בְשָׁנָה מִדֵּי עֲלֹתָהּ בְּבֵית ה' כֵּן תַּכְעִסֶנָּה וַתִּבְכֶּה וְלֹא תֹאכַל׃

"And so it was done year after year, whenever she went up to the house of Hashem, so she would provoke her, and she wept and would not eat."

וַתַּעֲלֵהוּ עִמָּהּ כַּאֲשֶׁר גְּמָלַתּוּ בְּפָרִים שְׁלֹשָׁה וְאֵיפָה אַחַת קֶמַח וְנֵבֶל יַיִן וַתְּבִאֵהוּ בֵית ה' שִׁלוֹ וְהַנַּעַר נָעַר׃

"And she brought him up with her when she had weaned him, with three bulls and one ephah of flour and a skin of wine, and she brought him to the house of Hashem at Shiloh, and the boy was young."

וּמְעִיל קָטֹן תַּעֲשֶׂה לּוֹ אִמּוֹ וְהַעַלְתָה לוֹ מִיָּמִים יָמִימָה בַּעֲלוֹתָהּ אֶת אִישָׁהּ לִזְבֹּחַ אֶת זֶבַח הַיָּמִים׃

"And his mother would make him a little robe and bring it up to him from year to year, when she went up with her husband to offer the yearly sacrifice."
